Current Programs

Job Seekers – Adults

  • Assessments: Services structured to evaluate and identify a customer’s vocational strengths, aptitudes, abilities, capabilities, interests, and academic skill levels. This activity helps to identify a potential employment goal. The outcome of the service is to identify vocational skills, Purpose, passions, hobbies, work characteristics, interests, personal values, and abilities/capabilities to potentially support an employment goal that the customer and the MRS counselor will discuss as part of the vocational counseling process. 
  • Job Exploration: This module will provide an overview of the importance of workforce development, its impact on economic growth, and the essential components of effective workforce development programs. Discovering students true passions and matching them with careers that fit their skill sets.
  • Workplace Readiness: This module will focus on the current barriers, fears, and circumstances students are facing. Through Character Education, students identify purpose versus exterior beliefs. They learn how to take life skills into a career. 
  • Job Searching and Interviewing: This module will guide job searching strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation. 
  • Technical Skills Training: This module will provide training in specific technical skills relevant to the local job market, such as computer literacy, customer service, or manufacturing skills.
  • Job Shadowing: In this module, participants will learn about different career paths and industries and how to research and plan for their career goals.
  • Workplace Culture and Diversity: In this module, participants will learn about different workplace cultures, expectations, and the importance of diversity and inclusion.

Job seekers – youth

  • Job Shadowing/Internships (5 days): This module will guide job searching strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation. 
  • Peer Mentoring – Self Advocacy: Career mentors are coaches, small business owners, or employees interested in mentoring a person with a disability to acquire career skills. Career mentors are trained before working with Youth.
  • College and Post-Secondary Readiness:  We assist students in understanding not only Financial Aid but ensuring their livelihood can support them while they are receiving an Education. Students are paired with a coach during their first year of school.

After School Program – Digital Entrepreneurship – 120 hours

Youth will learn their valid values and mission and select a charity they choose to create Digital content for. Utilizing Digital tools, Grammarly, Chat GPT,  CapCut, Social Media, and more. Students will also be trained on Data Content and how their fingerprint looks in the digital world. If you are a High School or Agency needing a program, please contact us.
